Pacific Sands has family-friendly ground floor and first floor fully furnished, self-contained apartments. Boasting a centralised location to a number of the Far North’s jewel attractions and activities, Pacific Sands is located only 12 minutes from the Cairns Airport, and 14 minutes from the CBD of Cairns to the south and the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to the north.
Pacific Sands has recently been refreshed, so the grounds and apartments are clean, crisp and welcoming.
The resort pool is surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. Pacific Sands has two BBQs available for guest use which are located under an expansive pavilion; perfect for dining with the family or entertaining.
All of the spacious apartments at Pacific Sands have two bedrooms. Each apartment can sleep up to four adults or two adults and three children and include:
- Modern furnishings
- Main bedroom with a queen size bed
- Second bedroom with two single beds (cots are available for hire)
- Airconditioning in the main bedroom and lounge with ceiling fans in the second bedroom and living areas
- Two-way bathroom with shower
- Fully equipped kitchen including cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils
- Whitegoods such as a dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer
- Private balcony or patio
- Flat screen TV
- Internet access (fees apply)
- Allocated car park
Linen and towels are provided for your convenience and these are changed mid-stay for those staying at Pacific Sands for more than a week. (Linen for hired cots and towels for pool and beach use are available for hire.)
For the comfort of all guests, no smoking is allowed in all apartments and are pets are not permitted at Pacific Sands.
Reception is open from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Saturday and Jan can be contacted at other times on her mobile.
All units can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Beds for children under 8 years old can be hired for $15/week.
